Work Schedule

You will work under the responsibility of your manager and you will be charged by the work
you accepted.
However your position can be adapted according to our needs and your skills as all of the posts that we offer require certain personal qualities such as dependability, responsibility, innovation, consideration of others and a willingness to contribute to the team both in spirit and action.

The work timetable is defined for each position in accordance to a schedule of hours between Monday to Sunday including the French bank holidays.
You will most likely be requested to carry out tasks with variable working hours in accordance with our requirements, while of course, respecting your weekly planning. You will not be working 7 days a week, but you are expected to be flexible in terms of their specific weekly planning.

Absence: you are obliged to inform your manager about your absence because of illness, accident or any other reasons. You must provide him by the medical certificate proving your absence within 24 hours. (In case of extension of your of your absence you have to provide the certificate proving this extension in the same terms.)
Vacations: the vacations are not assumed during your stay. Exceptionally and in very urgent cases you might ask your manager a day off explaining him the reason of your demand. He has the right to accept or refuse your request.
Break of the contract : in case of no respect of the working and internal rules and/or the timetable, the trainee will obtain the warning in oral or in written or we his contract in our company can be ended up immediately.

Lessons of French

12 hours of French lessons per week (from Monday to Friday or from Tuesday to Friday in the morning or the afternoon depending on the work schedule).
Students are placed in a group in accordance to their specific level of French. However, if a student has a level non-compatible with his/her fellow students, and/or finds himself/herself alone in a course, please be advised that we will provide at least 4 hours of individual tuition instead of the standard 12 hours of group lessons.

Accommodation

The accommodation is in one of our residences, in a flat (shared room), or in a host family. (In the summer season, the accommodation could be in a dormitory).
Please note that they might have to move, from one residence to another, several times during their stay. Deposit: 150 € deposit will be requested upon arrival and will be refunded when you have completed your work exchange program in accordance with your “practical work experience confirmation”.

Meals

All accommodation locations are equipped with a kitchen. Work exchange participants can prepare their own meals. However, for those who are accommodated in our summer campus without kitchen, we shall provide meals. For participants accommodated in host families, we provide half board (breakfast and dinner) if they cannot use the kitchen to cook.
Moreover, we offer 50% reduction of public prices at our school restaurant and café for work exchange participants.
